Pay Attention To The Following After Under-Eye Filler

  • After the under-eye filler process is applied, the area should not be touched with water for at least 5 hours. In fact, if possible, hot water should be avoided on the day of the procedure and the next day. During this two-day period, the patient should not take a shower. Because heat and humidity will adversely affect the process.

  • Attention should be paid to the lying position for three days after the procedure. Patients are advised to lie on their back with an extra pillow. The head should be kept higher than the body.

  • Compress should be made with ice around the area filled. However, care should be taken while doing this, and ice should be avoided directly on the filler area.

  • Eye rubbing should be avoided.

  • Excessive facial expressions should be avoided. Especially in the first few days, care should be taken not to laugh excessively. Because this situation negatively affects the effect time of the light filler.

  • Makeup should be shelved for a few days. It is not recommended to apply products such as under-eye concealer to the under-eye area for the first week. In addition, any product other than the creams and various medical products recommended by the doctor should not be used.

  • Sports activities should be suspended for a week after the procedure.

  • Against the risk of bleeding, blood thinners should not be taken and blood-thinning foods should not be consumed before and after light filler.

  • Although very rarely, some people may experience pain or swelling after under-eye filler. In this case, your doctor should be informed.
